Al-Baqara is one of the Qur’anic chapters. The word al-Baqara means “The Cow”. In this Surah, God is speaking to the people of the Book, the Jews, the Christians, and the Muslims, and telling them that He is the only true God and that there is no other God but He. He is also telling them that He will protect them from the punishment and that they will not be among those who will be punished.
Al-Baqara is a long Surah. It is the second longest Surah in the Qur’an. This Surah contains many chapters, each containing verses. There are 114 chapters in total in the Qur’an. Each chapter is separated into verses. There are different types of verses in the Qur’an, including literal, philosophical, and religious verses.
